Rainbow Hard Shell Roof Tent – Soplair

The Rainbow hard-shell roof tent by Soplair is designed to be installed on the roof of a vehicle. It combines a rigid aluminum shell with a polycotton fabric, making it ideal for traveling couples.

Design and materials

The structure is based on a black rigid aluminum shell, combined with a gray 320 g/m² polycotton fabric with a 3000 mm PU coating. A 160 g/m² polyester rain cover with a 10,000 mm PU coating is integrated. The floor is also black. This assembly forms the base of the tent and its integrated sleeping area.

Sleeping area and capacity

The sleeping area measures 121 x 201 cm and is designed to accommodate two adults. The tent is equipped with a foam mattress with a removable cover, integrated into the sleeping area.

Opening, dimensions, and equipment

The tent has a semi-automatic opening system comprising two gas struts and four hinges. It is 21.5 cm high when closed and 170 cm high when open. The whole unit is 2.16 m long and 136 cm wide.

The equipment includes two side doors and a front window, all equipped with shutters and mosquito nets. There is also an awning with a crystal window. Access is via a 2.3 m aluminum ladder, supplied with its own carrying bag.

Inside, there are two storage pockets and hooks for hanging a camping lamp. A lamp is included.
